Easy Dog Treat Enrichment

Want a super easy lick-mat recipe? Here’s my go-to enrichment treat for my Mabel Sweet Good Girl when I’m doing yard work and don’t need her help pulling weeds or trimming herbs.

Mabel’s Scrambled Dog Treat Surprise

Ingredients (takes a few minutes to put together)

One egg—any brand you buy for yourself.

Licki Mat or Bowl—This brand is the easiest to clean leftover eggs from crevices.

Bark Pouch Salmon & Ricotta Dog Treats—I’m happy to add a heart to my dog’s enrichment treats.

The Process

Crack the egg into a Lick Mat or Bowl and microwave. I usually start at one minute and see if it’s cooked all the way, but my microwave usually needs another 10 to 20 seconds.

Let it cool, then add a lickable dog treat love note.

That’s it. Happy enrichment to you and your dog(s).
