Food safety is non-negotiable. A few simple rules keep pouches tasting great and staying safe.
Unopened
- Store unopened pouches in a cool, dry pantry.
- Check the best-by date on each pouch.
After opening
- Refrigerate between uses and use within three days after opening.
- Recap tightly; don’t leave the tip exposed on a hot car seat.
Freezing
- Opened, capped pouches are OK to freeze and keep well in the freezer for up to two months after opening.
- Thaw in the fridge, not in a hot car. For short-term use, the fridge is preferred.
On the go
- Pocket a capped pouch for the walk; don’t leave it baking in a closed car.
- If it smells off or looks wrong, don’t use it—reach for a fresh pouch.
