It worked well for desensitization exercises and leash walking exercises. My dog loved the flavor. The dogs who ate it in class were ones that were highly distracted, and this grabbed their attention.

I found Bark Pouch randomly scrolling Instagram one day, and it’s the best thing I have ever encountered. I made my own squeeze tubes for clients with behavior issues, but that stopped immediately when I found Bark Pouch! Not only do I keep a healthy supply in my treat pouch (at least one of every flavor), but my clients also adore them. I love the “oh my gosh! that is so cool!” exclamation that I get from clients the first time I bring one out. They are so easy to use, and I haven’t found a dog yet that doesn’t just love them. Also, Brandi is absolutely fabulous to work with, and I love that she also gives back to the community.

As a dog trainer, I am so grateful for how much Bark Pouch has helped my pup clients work through reactivity and anxiety issues. It has everything I’d look for in a squeezable treat: easy to handle packaging, simple to dispense continuously, and tasty! Even my pickiest dog clients LOVE Bark Pouch. Additionally, my dogs have learned to enjoy nail trims and grooming- as long as they get “paid” with some Bark Pouch!

At first I was skeptical. I thought the pouch would be too cumbersome to deliver effectively, with the clicker and leash. But I put it in my treat pouch which has a variety of treats, and found that it is very easy to reach and deliver the “paste” for counter-conditioning work—and still able to grab other treats to reinforce different behaviors. I recently adopted a Bulldog/Staffordshire cross and she is a handful, to put it mildly. Low to the ground with her little stumpy legs, but that also gives her a lot of power and when she sees another dog. The sheer excitement…well difficult to describe, but NOT fun! Since I started using the salmon/cheese mix, her response time of looking at a strange dog and looking back at me is immediate!

I had a rescue dog that would not eat anything for a few days. I tried this pouch and he LOVED IT! It was my way to get him back to eating his normal food and then using this as a high value treat. I also use it as a training tool for my stubborn basset hound and it really worked. The dogs LOVE the smell of it and they know as soon as I get one out! Also, these are not messy at all. GREAT PRODUCT and highly recommend.
